This module, Data Protection Management Programme, provides participants with a solid foundation for the regional operational governance of a Data Protection Management Programme (DPMP) and defines how the DPMP may be developed, measured and improved. Participants will learn the management and operations of the DPMP within the context of the organisation’s privacy and data protection strategy. A deep understanding of Privacy Programme Operational Life Cycle domain is built upon a common industry-accepted framework of: Assessing or analysing an organization’s privacy regime; Protecting information assets through the implementation of industry-leading privacy and security controls and technology; Sustaining the privacy programme through communication, training and management actions; and Responding to privacy incidents.

This module is part of the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence programme.

    Data Protection Officers, Compliance Managers (Dedicated / Part-time) or personnel with data protection responsibilities. Also for personnel handling personal data, eg Finance, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing, IT, Customer Service. The IAPP Certified Information Privacy Manager credential is accredited under ANSI/ISO standard 17024:2012.

    If you already have the following qualification, you will be exempt from this module of the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence:

Funding Incentives

1. SkillsFuture Series

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible for 70% course fee funding (excluding GST) for successful enrolment into approved courses under the Programme. This funding is applicable to both individual and company sponsored participants.

Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above will enjoy 90% course fee funding (excluding GST).
2. SkillsFuture Credit**

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits (up to S$500) to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

3. Absentee Payroll
